What is a State Tax Credit?
The State of Arizona Tax Credit program allows you to allocate your tax dollars to Cherokee Elementary.
DID YOU KNOW… Arizona state law allows you to receive a tax credit of up to $200 for single filers and $400 for married filers for contributions to a public school designated for extracurricular activities? This mean taxpayers may help Cherokee AND reduce their state tax bill at the same time, by the same amount. This is an incredible “WIN/WIN”. Support Cherokee at literally NO cost to you!
Any Arizona tax payer can participate. You must take advantage of the great opportunity before the year ends.
Donations/Checks must be postmarked by April 15, 2024.

Contributions can also be made by cash or check.
Please print and fill out the Tax Credit Form (Formulario del Credito Tributario) if you are paying by cash or check.
Checks should be made payable to Scottsdale Unified School District and can be mailed directly to the school (Mail checks to Cherokee Elementary, 8801 N. 56th Street, Paradise Valley, AZ 85253) or to the Education Center located at 7575 E. Main Street, AZ 85251.
PLEASE NOTE: General Extracurricular*
* Money that is contributed to the general extracurricular account gives Cherokee the most flexibility and allows teachers, administration, and Site Council to choose how to best allocate the funds.
Please contact Charlotte Flynn at cherokeeaptfundraising.com with any questions or to learn how to participate.
